..but really, these thoughts: dichotomies of analysis and synthesis, models and theories; formal logic and reasoning, they have no place in really understanding someone. they may aid in analyzing (instrumentalizing) people and mass behavior, but the sheer volition of even the most faded-out individual can set them apart from any expectation and causal chain.
